Will YOU Accept The Neo Ma'at Challenge???
You can change your entire life for the better within just 12 months through following the success principles of Neo Ma'at. Any suggestion that it's going to take us at least another 500 years to repair ourselves is completely untrue. So will you take the challenge? It's as simple as saying this ...
I (state your name) on the (state the date) at (state the time) declare that I will sincerely dedicate myself to study, practice and teach the success principles of Neo Ma'at.
You will then be celebrated, applauded and cheered by those present (if you're in public) for your new commitment and supported by them from then on. Twelve months later - your life will be far more successful than it was twelve months previously - and that's an absolute guarantee. So - let's do it!!

42 Steps To Success. Step 1
Original text:
Ani saith: Hail, thou whose strides are long (Usekh-nemmt), who comest forth from Annu (Heliopolis), I have not done iniquity.
Definitions:
1. Iniquity - immoral or grossly unfair behaviour.
Modern interpretation:
I have not deliberately done immorality to others.
Success principle/goal:
To not do bad to other Black people.
Rationale:
I suppose this is the foundation for successful living in your community. Some of you appear to not mind doing all sorts of evil, criminal and offensive things to other Black people regardless of the consequences. It's almost to be expected from some of us who'll simply do whatever it takes to get their own way and benefit from it.
Yes. There have been dedicated efforts made in the past by our enemies, to turn us against each other to produce hate and disregard. This certainly worked as what we see today bears witness to this. But, ultimately, you're in total control of how you choose to act and you can no longer blame them for any of your continued transgressions.
By not deliberately acting in this wrongful manner to other Black people - you'll typically find less wrongful actions coming back to affect you. It's basic cause and effect. You should be able to recognise this and not seek to blame 'this and that' when the results of your unethical actions come back to haunt you.
If you consider this, then the main reason you're probably experiencing some degree of problems in your life, could be due to how you're choosing to live it. By recognising, stopping and correcting this behaviour, your life will begin to reflect this new found positivity and lead you towards a greater and brighter future.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To avoid doing bad to other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Bad can only bring about bad. Those who choose to live like this can only expect to get back from others what they've given others. When we see the repercussions of this in our communities, we have to recognise that much of it must have come from us. We can't blame other races for this any longer. We must take full responsibility for our actions (and our in-actions) and fully accept that we must not do bad to each other in order to rise.
The next step in the 42 steps to success programme will be:
Hail, Hept-khet, who comest forth from Kher-aha, I have not committed robbery with violence.
... may your heart be lighter than the feather.

42 Steps To Success. Step 2.
Original text:
Hail, Hept-khet, who comest forth from Kher-aha, I have not committed robbery with violence.
Definitions:
1. Robbery - the action of taking property unlawfully from a person or place by force or threat of force.
Modern interpretation:
I have not committed violent robbery on others.
Success principle/goal:
To not commit violent robbery on other Black people.
Rationale:
You've seen colossal levels of violence and robbery drastically affecting us within the past 500 years. Our enemies have had no hesitation in using both as a means to gain all that they've got at their disposal today - and largely appear to feel no genuine remorse over this. The devastating effects are still being experienced to this very day, meaning that it's not to be easily excused and has had immense long term effects on us.
When you do this to other Black people, innocent people can be seriously harmed or killed just so that you can take their personal property away from them. The problems this creates for our aspiring unity is enormous and only breeds more fear, envy and distrust.
You may say that you've got to do whatever it takes to 'get yours' - but this isn't true and it's certainly not an example of ethical and honourable behaviour either. Those of us who have sacrificed and worked smart (and hard) to gain what they have, deserve to enjoy the full benefits of what they've worked for. Taking it from them through force only indicates the lack of determination and vision you have to achieve the same.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Examine the possible causes:

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Violent robbery is a serious crime that can't be excused or reasoned away. Some of us try to deny this and claim that poverty is the real crime. But, if it is, then why aren't the majority of us in poverty stricken countries hardened criminals by now? If the main (or only way) some of us think we can get the things we want in life is through violence and robbery, then they fully deserve whatever penalties they're ultimately given. We must not rob from each other.
The next step in the 42 steps to success programme will be:

42 Steps To Success. Step 3.
Original:
Hail, Fenti, who comest forth from Khemenu, I have not stolen.
Definitions:
1. Stolen - to have taken (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it.
Modern interpretation:
I have not taken somebody's property so that I can keep it for myself.
Success principle/goal:
To not steal from other Black people.
Rationale:
Stealing isn't seen by some of you as being that much of a grave issue. Some may even look at it as a bit of fun to add a little excitement to an otherwise dull and boring day! But, stealing another Black persons belongings that they've sacrificed and worked hard for, is one of the 'best ways' to continue the mistrust, suspicion and violence many have grown used to in your communities.
You may never have any real idea of what others have been through to get what they've gained in life, so they can help themselves, their family and/or others in need. To steal it from them stops them from being able to give this help and also robs those who depend on them of that potentially vital support.
So, you may feel like you've gained a little by stealing other peoples property - but so many others would have lost a great deal by your selfish actions. As a result, being able to live a normal and relaxed life will become a thing of the past, as you're continually apprehended by those you've stolen from (and even the police) and every day brings them closer and closer to finding and punishing you.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not steal from other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Stealing from each other is a sign of individual and collective disrespect. It shows we don't value each other and that we're filled with envy, greed and jealousy for what others of us have. The levels of distrust bred from this can only form and build major barriers between us all, that'll become increasingly difficult to remove. We must not steal from each other.
The next step in the 42 steps to success programme will be:

Original:
Hail, Devourer of the Shade (Am-khaibit), who comest forth from Qernet, I have done no murder; I have done no harm.
Definitions:
1. Murder - the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.
Modern interpretation:
I have not killed others unlawfully.
Success principle/goal:
To not murder other Black people.
Rationale:
To not commit murder is a universal law that has existed since the very beginning. To deliberately take someone's life is an absolute sign of you seeing them as being utterly unimportant, irrelevant and valueless. The grief, sorrow and distress this causes family members and friends lasts for many years and isn't easily softened. Simply put, they'll never get over it.
But, what isn't fully acknowledged is the effects of murder (guilt and shock) it also brings to the culprit. He or she too has to live with their wrongdoing and the escalating anguish of their misconduct. In a tragic situation like this, there are absolutely no winners and the entire community will be affected by the senseless losses.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
It is said that murdering even one person feels as if you've murdered the whole of humanity. It's really that devastating! So, although those of us who commit murder may appear to be untroubled by their homicidal actions, the reality is that they're deeply unsettled individuals who will forever feel the shame and remorse of taking this deadly step. One step they'll never be able to take back. We must not murder each other.

Original:
Hail, Nehau, who comest forth from Re-stau, I have not defrauded offerings.
Definitions:
1. Defraud - to deprive of a right, money, or property by fraud.
Modern interpretation:
I have not committed fraud and stopped others from getting that which they should rightfully receive.
Success principle/goal:
To not cheat other Black people.
Rationale:
Knowingly tricking someone out of what they've acquired is only going to result in tremendous problems for the victims - and will also have major repercussions for the fraudster once apprehended. You wouldn't really expect to be swindled by 'one of your own', so when it happens, it can often come as quite a major shock and disappointment.
This may quickly turn into the desire to get revenge and that's when people (the innocent included) can start to get hurt. There's a strong probability that this'll happen, so tricking each other can lead to further violence and breakdowns in your communities. The grief, bitterness and hostility produced will only keep you divided and destroy your ability to easily place your trust in other Black people.

Conclusion:
Cheating and conning each other may lead to a lot of laughs and jokes by the fraudsters and those they share their tales with at the time. But, the jokes may soon come to an abrupt end when the victims come to dispense some 'ghetto justice' and plainly show what they're prepared to carry out to get their dues - and with interest too! We must not defraud each other.

42 Steps To Success. Step 6.
Original:
Hail, Ruruti, who comest forth from Heaven, I have not purloined offerings.
Definitions:
1. Purloin - to take dishonestly; steal; filch; pilfer. To commit theft.
2. Offerings - something offered in worship or devotion, as to a deity; an oblation or sacrifice. A contribution given to or through the church for a particular purpose, as at a religious service. Anything offered as a gift.
Modern interpretation:
I have not stolen that which I should/could be giving as a gift.
Success principle/goal:
To not 'steal' (or withhold) things that we should freely give to other Black people.
Rationale:
What you continually have to freely offer to others is a proportion of your time, your wealth and the skills you've gained throughout your life. The power of these potential 'offerings' can create a huge amount of progress and opportunity within your communities once it's channelled effectively.
Imagine if you committed to giving say, 10 hours per week or 10% of your wealth per month to organising and tackling the problems you see affecting your community. You'll soon see that the majority of these problems would be eradicated in no time at all!
To not freely want to give some of your resources to your communal advancement; claim you're too busy; you can't afford it or you've no skills to offer (or to just simply refuse to help) is comparable to 'stealing away' that which could and should be offered to help your community. After all, you can't take it with you - can you???
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not withhold things that we should freely give to other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We can't really complain when we see the troubles in our communities increase and worsen - especially if we've not committed ourselves to giving any proportion of our resources to try to tackle them. Ask yourself this, how will these community problems get fixed if we don't try to do something about them? Who's going to do it? If we don't - then who will?
The only ones suffering as a result of continually running away from this responsibility is us. God only knows what it's going to be like for our descendants if we don't try to stop this now! We must start 'gifting' a portion of our time, wealth and skills to help and support each other and heal our communities.

42 Steps To Success. Step 7.
Original:
Hail, Arfi-em-khet, who comest forth from Suat, I have not stolen the property of God.
Definitions:
1. Property - that which a person owns; the possession or possessions of a particular owner: An essential or distinctive attribute or quality of a thing.
Modern interpretation:
I have not taken or kept away that which has been entrusted to me by The Creator.
Success principle/goal:
To not 'steal' away what you've been given to help other Black people.
Rationale:
Our ancestors believed that the skills, abilities, time and wealth you have are not truly yours - but they've been 'loaned' to you by The Creator for specific reasons. They knew they had these attributes to use a portion of them to help those in need and make the community a better place to live in. This gave them the understanding that living a purposeful life is directly linked to serving and helping each other. This was the way to inner peace, success and happiness.
So, all of your 'property' (the tangible and intangible things you possess) have been granted to you - not solely for your own personal enjoyment - but to help other Black people who are less fortunate or less able to have better lives. This forms the basis of community charity which then allows us all to rise - and gives you purpose in life.
To not use a proportion of your assets to help other Black people is indeed 'stealing' the property of God - as those who should be receiving the benefits are being 'robbed' of getting what The Creator has prescribed for them. They can only get it if you're there to give it to them. If you refuse to do your part, then they start to suffer even more - but then (in return) so do you!
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not 'steal' away what you've been given to help other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
It's so easy for us to fall into the trap of believing that what we have in life is solely for our own gratification, pleasure, self-praise and glory. It's easy to start thinking that we don't owe anybody anything and that those Black people who haven't 'made it' are just good for nothing, shiftless and undeserving. So, why not buy yet another diamond encrusted Cartier watch; why not show off to others just how wonderfully talented I am; why not spend my time hanging around in other people's houses gossiping about other people! Yes. Why not?
This couldn't be further from the truth. If we don't consider each other and use some of what we have for community charitable work, then all of our riches, skills and time will ultimately leave us feeling empty, soulless and unfulfilled. You've been given these gifts for a reason. But, remember, they can just as easily be taken away from you too! We must use some of what we've been given to help each other.
The next step in the 42 steps to success will be:
Hail, Neba, who comest and goest, I have not uttered lies.
... may your heart be lighter than the feather.

42 Steps To Success. Step 8.
Original:
Hail, Neba, who comest and goest, I have not uttered lies.
Definitions:
1. Lies - a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood. Something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture:
Modern interpretation:
I have not tried to deceive others with untruth or false statements.
Success principle/goal:
To not give false impressions to or about other Black people.
Rationale:
Much of the time, lies are told to hide the wrongful actions that you've done or aim to do. When you set out to intentionally lie to (or lie about) other Black people, all you're doing is creating and/or stimulating a climate of confusion and distrust, that produces needless uncertainty.
It's in the nature of a lie that it becomes more exaggerated with each person who repeats it, as it's continually embellished for added effect. It's therefore impossible to know how the original lie will finally end up - but the damaging effect it'll have on the victims, the community (and also the liar) can ultimately prove to be highly problematic.
Such lies can prove to be disastrous when they're said about the capability of the community too. If (for example) you're led to believe your community are completely unable to help themselves, then you'll have few or no expectations of them. But, if this is a lie, then great opportunities to progress may be completely lost in the mean time. By sharing and accepting these lies without question, everybody loses out!
So, lying about yourself and your community can result in harmful false impressions that mislead and deceive all involved. If you don't really know what the truth is - then how can it set you free?
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not give false impressions to or about other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We've all seen the damaging effects that deliberate and misleading lying can do within our communities. On an individual level, the innocent can have their whole lives utterly ruined by people who just don't like them or are envious of what they have.
On a communal level, the destructive consequences of lying and stubbornly confusing others about the attitudes, perceptions and capabilities of the community, will only bring about cluelessness and despair for us all. We must start being totally truthful to and about each other.
The next step in the 42 steps to success will be:

42 Steps To Success. Step 9.
Original:
Hail, Crusher of bones (Set-qesu), who comest forth from Suten-henen (Herakleopolis), I have not snatched away food.
Definitions:
1. Snatch - to make a sudden effort to seize something, as with the hand; grab (usually followed by at). To take, get, secure, etc., suddenly or hastily.
2. Food - any nourishing substance that is eaten, drunk, or otherwise taken into the body to sustain life, provide energy, promote growth, etc. Anything serving for consumption or use.
Modern interpretation:
I have not tried to seize that which can sustain life or provide energy from others.
Success principle/goal:
To not take away that which can support Black people.
Rationale:
This could be the physical food and drink which sustains you - but could also be things described as, ‘anything serving for consumption or use’ - which you can then consume or use to feed your mind. This ‘alternative food’ could be consuming the increasingly vast amount of African centred books; DVD's; streaming content; TV programmes; community workshops; public presentations etc. that can feed your mind with valuable insights, wisdom and self-knowledge etc. all of which can then be used to form the basis for significant personal growth.
When you look at it in this way, the word 'food' takes on a totally different meaning and shows that your mind can be fed in as just a wholesome way as your body can! What you choose to watch and whom and what you choose to listen to, will either give you healthy mental nutrition - or withering malnutrition. You are the only one who decides this and the choices you make will then probably go onto affect those around you - especially your very own children.
Having this positive mental food snatched away from your child, will rob them of the great benefits and opportunities for their future mental and physical progress. Doing this would be comparable to deliberate starvation - the end result being a type of mental death. You are the one responsible for the food you and your small children generally eat - so, what you give them to consume must ultimately provide physical, spiritual - and mental nourishment too.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not take away that which can support Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
What we choose to consume will either help or hinder us to live healthy and effective lives. The food we choose to physically eat and drink can clearly affect our bodies - for better or for worse. But, what we choose to 'eat and drink into our minds' will also have a similar effect. Never before has there been an age when we've had access to so much 'good mind food' to read, reflect upon and implement into our lives.
Our children are starving for this good mental food and they're looking towards us to feed it to them. If they don't get it from us - then they'll get something from someone else. So, can we really condemn them for how we see so many behaving today? There's really no excuse for us now to not eagerly work towards consuming as much African centred information as we can, to help ensure our minds are kept 'well fed' and fully nourished with the taste of the food for freedom. We must start feeding ourselves and each other the best spiritual, mental, physical and behavioural 'food'.
The next step in the 42 steps to success will be:

42 Steps To Success. Step 10.
Original:
Hail, thou who shootest forth the Flame (Utu-nesert), who comest forth from Het-Ptah-ka (Memphis), I have not caused pain.
Definitions:
1. Pain - physical suffering or distress, as due to injury, illness, etc. Mental or emotional suffering or torment.
Modern interpretation:
I have not deliberately caused physical or mental suffering to others.
Success principle/goal:
To not intentionally cause distress or torment to other Black people.
Rationale:
There's never any real reason to deliberately bring physical, mental or emotional pain to others - especially for personal gain or pleasure. Choosing to treat others like this turns you into an oppressive, soulless individual who doesn't believe they should value the feelings and lives of those being hurt. Our history of enslavement is filled with examples of your men, women and children being horrifically tortured.
This was often done for control purposes - but it was also done to satisfy whites peoples' growing sadistical desires. Whites wanting to feel the absolute power of being able to do absolutely anything they liked to us (without retaliation) became hugely intoxicating. Their inhuman barbarity towards us knew no end, but, as time ultimately told, our resultant freedom uprisings proved their brutality was always repaid - in full!
Now, you may want to believe you can deliberately inflict pain whenever you like to anyone you like, because 'you are who you are' but, just remember, you'll also be inviting pain back into your own life (and/or to those who you know) because of your cruelty. This is what can lead to innocent family members or friends being attacked or killed in reprisals and the tragic spiralling of community violence. As a result, you'll never be able to truly rest or find peace, as one day the effects of your savagery will inevitably come right back to you.

Examine the possible causes:

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Many of us appear to not care if or how we bring pain to each other, because we don't value how we feel collectively or individually. All this does is make us lose consideration for each other - as we add to our own oppression through spreading the same pain and hurt. We can't blame any other race for this, because what comes from our own mouths and hands is our own responsibility. We mustn't deliberately cause each other pain.

42 Steps To Success. Step 11.
Original:
Hail, Qerer, who comest forth from Amentet, I have not committed fornication. I have not lain with men.
Definitions:
1. Fornication - voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.
Modern interpretation:
I have not had sex with someone who I am not married to.
Success principle/goal:
To keep sex within Black marriages.
Rationale:
Because 'free love' has become so prevalent in many Western countries, you may now view it as being quite normal to have sex with someone you're not married to - or even have any intention of ever marrying! It's one big sexual free for all where you can do whatever and whomever you like. Yet, you've surely seen by now how this practice has caused significant damage in your communities, as people are devastated by the unpredictable outcomes.
The substantial rise of dysfunctional families; unwanted/mistreated children; toxic relationships based primarily upon sexual gratification; the transmission of dangerous venereal diseases etc. are just a few of the results you may have become aware of, as we run to jump into bed with whomever will allow us to - or whomever we think can give us more wealth, status or improve our appearances.
Ask yourself, has the sexual revolution really helped your communities to reach a state of excellence, or has it been a 'Trojan horse' where, externally, it appeared to be so liberating - but internally, it contained another form of enslavement - an enslavement to your base sexual desires. You may now face a serious challenge with keeping this aspect of yourself under control, as you begin the futile search of experiencing the 'ultimate sexual encounter'.
This then leads you to all sorts of self-destructive experiences and conflict as you become more and more trapped by the supremely addictive power of sex. You may even find yourself doing things that you'd never imagine doing in order to feed this desire. Letting this particular 'genie out of its bottle', could prove to be very hard to put back in!

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Sex has long been used as a weapon of mass destruction by our enemies against us. Our chattel enslavement was filled with examples of this and our continued mental enslavement shows that not enough has ever been done to shield us from it.
As a result, our communities are filled with unpleasant incidences of all the problems it brings. Marriage is the ultimate key to help us correct this problem, so that we don't continue to suffer the consequences of spiritual, mental, physical and behavioural self-destruction. We will all repent at our leisure by dismissing it. We must start marrying each other.

Original:
Hail, thou whose face is turned back (Her-f-ha-f), who comest forth from thy hiding place, I have not caused shedding of tears.
Definitions:
Not applicable
Modern interpretation:
I have not done things to intentionally distress other people.
Success principle/goal:
To not deliberately upset other Black people.
Rationale:
Your deliberate words and/or actions can either bring happiness or sadness to those you relate to. Intentionally doing things that'll hurt, disturb or upset other Black people can cause unnecessary traumas that will probably have far reaching effects. This could be anything unpleasant or undesirable that results in someone being so emotionally hurt, they're literally driven to tears as a direct result. You've offended something which they hold dear, care about deeply and value.
In a case such as this, your words and deeds may bring further additional discomfort into someone's already difficult life - which can then subsequently make you become the focus of their eventual retaliation. This is the one thing you may not have counted on - revenge! You may then find that any activity which openly involves you is not well supported by individuals or the community - and is viewed with hatred directly because of the upset you've caused.
This doesn't just affect the person you've hurt - it also affects anyone else who becomes aware of what you've done who equally takes offence. All of this is caused just because you stubbornly said or did something that you deliberately intended to hurt someone with. Once these particular 'chickens come home to roost', you can only blame yourself for reaping the continuing problems that you've so inconsiderately sown.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We can see how nobody wins in this type of poisonous 'tit for tat' situation. Those of us who think they can say whatever they like, to whomever they like (and you just have to take it and like it) aren't considering how our emotions can be so badly impacted by this, that the effects (and possible feelings of vengeance) can last for years. This hurt can then result in us unnecessarily distancing ourselves from each other - and missing out on valuable collective opportunities.
When we intentionally say and do things that results in this type of breakdown, the emotional bitterness and hostility it produces only succeeds in separating us even more. Those who find it hard to control their tongue (and their egos) often cause more harm than good and probably don't even care - just as long as they can feel that they've 'won the argument'. They may like to think that they've won - but they're completely blind to just how much they've ultimately lost in the process. We must stop deliberately upsetting each other.

The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:
Hail, Bast, who comest forth from the secret place (Bubastis), I have not dealt deceitfully.

42 Steps To Success. Step 13.
Original:
Hail, Bast, who comest forth from the secret place (Bubastis), I have not dealt deceitfully.
Definitions:
1. Deceit - guilty of or involving deceit; deceiving or misleading others.
Modern interpretation:
I have not deceived or misled others.
Success principle/goal:
To not deceive other Black people.
Rationale:
Your acts of intentional deceit can be carried out in many different ways (financial, personal property etc.) but you can be assured they'll always result in your victims ultimately being tricked and not receiving what they deserve, or what you've promised them. You may later laugh at your antics and the grief caused to your victims, but their subsequent realisation will doubtlessly lead to reprisals, where they seek redress through the use of violence or the threat of it.
This may not just be restricted to you, but may well also begin to include your family and friends. The desperation from the victims of deceit can quite easily push them to take steps they would never typically take. Punishing the innocent for the crimes of the guilty is never justifiable - but it's easy to see how this can happen. Your trickery has now put their lives in imminent danger just for your own selfish, personal gain.
But, what of the deceit which results in you misleading people into thinking things about themselves that can potentially trap them into a mental state of powerlessness? This can have far worse effects then a violent reprisal, because these victims are deceived into a lifetime of not even trying to change the conditions they find themselves in and then lose all hope of bettering themselves. They are locked into a 'victim cycle' of blame, fear and bitterness which they constantly struggle to escape from. They become their own judge, jury and executioner - because of you!
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not deceive other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
There's an old saying in the UK which is, 'if you can't catch Harry - catch his shirt!' This basically means we open opportunities for those around us to be harmed if we choose to do things that'll eventually have perilous repercussions. So, when we hear stories of innocent people being severely injured or killed in what appeared to be a senseless attack, it has to make you wonder if someone they were related to (or knew) had caused this because of their deceitful ways.
But, who can measure the amount of damage done by those who deceive others into believing they're far less then what they are? How are those lives violated by persistent claims that they're in the condition they're in - primarily because of other people or races? These victims are rarely encouraged to change their own condition - leaving them to inconceivably conclude that their victimiser is also their liberator! This type of deception is dangerously different because it's often fuelled by the out of control egos, of those who refuse to recognise their own obstinate attitudes and refusal to concede. We must stop deceiving ourselves and each other.
The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:
Hail, thou whose legs are of fire (Ta-retiu),who comest forth out of the darkness, I have not attacked any man.
... may your heart be lighter than the feather.

42 Steps To Success. Step 14.
Original:
Hail, thou whose legs are of fire (Ta-retiu),who comest forth out of the darkness, I have not attacked any man.
Definitions:
1. Attack - an aggressive and violent act against a person or place.
Modern interpretation:
I have not started violence towards anybody.
Success principle/goal:
To not attack other Black people.
Rationale:
The levels of violence or aggression you see in some of your communities has played a major part in keeping us divided and hateful towards each other. Of course, some people can't get on with others and might get into an argument or fight - but the degree of hostile response can very quickly escalate. This is where the violence unjustifiably goes beyond the people involved and affects innocent bystanders; uninvolved family members and those who may attempt to bring peace etc. All of this just over some minor dispute!
If you choose to start the violence yourself, then you're largely responsible for what later follows. You may think at the time you're fully justified in your actions but, afterwards, you might ask yourself was there another way? Could I have tried something else? Did I really have to go to those lengths? This is where you'll start to become filled with regret and wish that things had been different - especially when the innocent are hurt or are even killed. But by now though, it'll be too late and what you've done can't be simply un-done.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not attack other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We need to understand the dangers of attacking each other physically and/or verbally. Some say that words can't hurt you, but we've seen how extreme violence can quickly occur based solely on what's being said in an argument. There is no way to know just how much another person may be deeply hurt, humiliated or offended when they're being deliberately attacked. Logically, they will then do whatever they feel they need to do in order to defend themselves and save face.
It's therefore vital we do our level best to avoid possible violence by simply being respectful to each other and controlling our tongues and our egos. There's always something else to try - before we try violence. We must not attack each other.
The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:

Hail, Devourer of Blood (Unem-snef), who comest forth from the block of slaughter, I have not acted guilefully.
Definitions:
1. Guileful - insidiously cunning; artfully deceptive; wily.
Modern interpretation:
I have not been wily when dealing with others.
Success principle/goal:
To not be cunning towards other Black people.
Rationale:
Being wily and deceptive may appear to be the easiest way for you to gain a quick advantage over other Black people, but by doing this you massively increase the probability of creating vast problems for yourself (and others) when your guile is discovered.
Your victims will surely come looking for you (or those related to you) in order to get justice - and you'll find it practically impossible to live a normal life as they get closer and closer to tracking you down. Every creak in the house; every shout in the street and every tyre screech on the road could mean that 'the jig is up'! Is this any rational way to live your life?
It makes little or no sense for you to treat other Black people like this - especially when your life (and the lives of others) might be at stake.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
It's not the first time we've seen this type of principle mentioned in Ma'at. Steps 5 and 13 of this programme are also closely linked to this matter. It's obvious this topic is something we shouldn't take lightly as it leads to us not wanting to trust, work with or help each other. Being deliberately guileful will only bring more division and chaos into our communities, as some of us try to selfishly 'bleed out' a little bit more - just for themselves!
Yet, if we know there's a possibility of this happening, ensuring we take all necessary precautions to protect ourselves becomes a paramount - and indeed essential step to take. You alone will be responsible for this. It's no use complaining about being duped (after the fact) if you had the chance to avoid it in the first place! We must not use guile upon each other.

Original:
Hail, Devourer of the inward parts (Unem-besek), who comest forth from Mabet, I have not laid waste the ploughed land.
Definitions:
1. Lay waste to - cause extensive destruction or ruin utterly;
Modern interpretation:
I have not intentionally destroyed the place where I abide.
Success principle/goal:
To not ruin the areas where Black people live.
Rationale:
In ancient Kemet (Egypt), 'ploughed land' was any land that had been generated and made productive. Today, this could be comparable to any developed city, town, village or neighbourhood where you live. All of these places hold a similar potential and can either be attractive or unattractive to live in. If you go through areas where mostly Black people live (and find that it's in a good or bad state) then you should consider how much they've contributed to the surroundings.
The conditions of your immediate environment generally reflects the people who live there. Black communities who have a high regard and self-esteem will tend to make sure the houses, businesses and communal places reflects them. They'll be respectable, community focussed and clean - pretty much just like they are! This will make those areas increasingly attractive to live in and will start to draw attention from home buyers, entrepreneurs and other ambitious people.
Areas that are quite the opposite, however, will be far less appealing and many people staying there will probably be looking to move out at the very first opportunity - but it's still essentially the same or similar 'ploughed land' as in the first example. So, what's the difference?
Where you live will always reflect the attitudes of the people who live there. Positive attitudes - positive surroundings. Negative attitudes - negative surroundings. Has the ploughed land been ruined or has it been cultivated by those who live there? Change the people and they will change the area to make it reflect them and their values. It's all down to you!

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).

Most of us don't have the opportunity to immediately change where we live at will. But, we do have the opportunity to change the way we think (and how we subsequently choose to live) whenever we want to. This means we can immediately begin to make our community areas benefit us and become attractive places to live in, after all, it's the same 'ploughed land'.
We can begin to change the condition of our surroundings - when we first begin to change our own condition. We must not ruin the places where we live.

Definitions:
1. Eavesdrop - to listen secretly to a private conversation.
Modern interpretation:
I have not intentionally listened to the private talk of others.
Success principle/goal:
To not pry into other Black people's private affairs.
Rationale:
This is essentially an act of spying, as information about other Black people's personal circumstances or future plans now become available, as you deliberately snoop into their private lives. Logically, the only reason you'd want to do this is to gain some type of manipulative advantage over them - or to deliberately share their information with others who have the same intention. This can then be used as a possible means to gain control over them and their actions.
It's more than likely not going to be 'good news' you're hoping to hear or aiming to share - so it must be primarily designed to create major problems for them personally and/or professionally. Ultimately, you've done this solely to ruin their lives for a fee - or for free! But, you'll also have to live with the apprehensive fear that one unsuspecting day you'll be discovered and then be made to reap all of the damage and destruction you've sown. You will reap it - or those related to you will.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Spying on each other can only lead to huge amounts of distrust and suspicion among us. We will never be able to feel confident that we can share our hopes, dreams and wishes to each other for fear of this being divulged without our consent. This further means that innovative community based projects which could be organised, may never be attempted due to the fear of the ideas being betrayed. We will all miss out.
By spying upon and then using sensitive information against each other, we'll only be preventing our own individual and collective trust and confidence - both of which are vital for us to rise. We must not spy on each other.

42 Steps To Success. Step 18.
Original:
Hail, thou who dost stride backwards (Tenemiu), who comest forth from the city of Bast, I have not set my lips in motion against any one.
Definitions:
1. Motion - the action or process of moving or being moved.
Modern interpretation:
I have not intentionally spoken badly against others.
Success principle/goal:
To not slander other Black people.
Rationale:
This is one of the most devastating ways to create considerable problems within your community. It can't be denied that intentionally slandering and saying negative things about other Black people, is only done to ensure that their character, status and reputation is irreparably damaged. This can be done entirely out of bitterness, envy and malice and doesn't encourage others to seek proof of the accusations at the time.
It's immensely dangerous, because the victim doesn't have a fair opportunity to speak in their own defence and can then be seriously misrepresented or misjudged as a result. The massive amounts of emotions that are being deliberately agitated, are done so in order to manipulate and control people for the benefit of the slanderer. It should become clear to see that they have deeper and more sinister intentions which are aimed at destruction.
The misinformation and lies can spread rapidly - with each repetition of it being worse than the last. It's at this time that many will stop thinking rationally and will become more and more driven by their lower emotions - particularly anger, fury and wrath. In extreme cases, this can even lead to 'witch hunts' where the victim is apprehended by enraged mobs, who will then do whatever they think is necessary to get justice - or vengeance.
It's usually only after the incident has happened that the truth may finally come out - but by then it'll be too late for the victim, their family, friends - and the entire community too.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not slander other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We've seen many past examples where noble men and women have been intentionally slandered by our external and internal enemies. People such as Harriet Tubman, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X etc. have fallen victim to this destructive form of attack as they attempted to help us improve and change our condition. This typically resulted in them being verbally abused; grievously harmed and/or even murdered - by our own people!
Our enemies use slander as a means to make us fight amongst ourselves for their own benefit - and many of us continue to fall for it every, single time! If slander has been used to such great effect, then we must recognise the considerable and inherent danger of it and be fully aware that nobody in the community gets to escape its consequences, if we stand by and allow it to happen. We must not slander each other.

Original:
Hail, Sertiu, who comest forth from Annu (Heliopolis), I have not been angry and wrathful except for a just cause.
Definitions:
1. Wrathful - full of or characterised by intense anger.
Modern interpretation:
I have not become extremely angry without reason.
Success principle/goal:
To not be angry at other Black people without cause.
Rationale:
This is a dangerous place for you to be in emotionally, as it can quickly lead to levels of unnecessary violence that doesn't justify such a response. If you allow yourself to do this, then there's no real telling exactly where it'll end up, as an escalating altercation can easily result in death - especially if it's directly aimed at another person. This might not be your intention - but because of your hostile emotional state you may find yourself doing something that you'll later regret.
Alternatively, for you to be angry at something that is obviously unfair is completely understandable and using your anger to show this is totally justified. This 'righteous anger', historically, has helped to bring to an end many a wrongful situation where injustice has reigned and our people were being badly mistreated. In fact, for you to not be outraged about this degree of injustice (and say it's got nothing to do with you) is actually abnormal and goes against all rational thinking and behavior.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
Finding yourself in a regular state of anger should prompt you to ask yourself, why am I being like this? If you've developed an underlying medical condition then you should get this addressed at the earliest opportunity to prevent it from worsening. This also presents additional dangers to your health as this also massively increases your personal stress levels. The damage this can do to your body over time may prove to be devastating as you become increasingly susceptible to serious illness and long term disease.
We've seen how our anger against the historical injustices we've faced has produced tremendous results. If we didn't do what we did back then to challenge and overcome these episodes, we'd still probably be in chains today! Enormous efforts have been made by our enemies to mentally condition us into accepting their injustices and to not resist. They know that if we did fight back, we'd be inspiring each other to completely change our circumstances for ourselves - and not just believe their empty promises and sit waiting for them to change.
This shows how massively important it is to do all we can to defend ourselves from injustice and do something to change the conditions we find ourselves in. Our enemies will never do this for us, no matter how much they claim they will or want to. Our condition will not change - until we first change our condition. We must stop being angry at each other for little or no reason.

42 Steps To Success. Steps 20
Original:
Hail, thou being of two-fold wickedness (Tutu), who comest forth from Ati (the Busirite Nome), I have not defiled the wife of any man.
Definitions:
1. Defile - damage the purity or appearance of; mar or spoil. Make impure, contaminate, pollute, debase, degrade, dishonour, vitiate. Rape or sexually assault (a woman).
Modern interpretation:
I have not sexually molested another mans wife.
Success principle/goal:
To not sexually degrade Black women.
Rationale:
The Black woman has been the most violated woman on Earth for the past five hundred years. This has happened due to the unrivalled impact of white enslavement upon Africans and the countless rapes and sexual assaults she had to endure and cope with. The fact that white males then went on to fabricate wild tales of the alleged sexual insatiability of Black women, eventually produced a highly warped impression of them that has lasted for centuries. The results of this is that she is now seen (and often treated) as of being of far less 'matrimonial' value - especially when compared to white females.
So, when you treat a Black woman in any way that encourages or maintains this sexual fallacy (by principally using them for your sexual enjoyment and relief) all you're really doing is helping to continue the destructive perception of your Black sister, Black mother, Black female cousins, Black grandmother and Black female friends etc. as being of little or no real value beyond carnal pleasure and immediate sexual gratification. You now become the sexual oppressor and predator rolled into one.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session).
Conclusion:
We've seen the clear results of how the ongoing sexual degradation of Black women can impair our communities and our ability to move ahead. Much of this is carried out by Black males who have chosen to follow a lifestyle that is equally impaired. Young girls and boys learn from their parents how to behave and, if they closely follow their example, will only go on to imitate similar actions. This can only typically lead to each successive generation becoming worse than the last. The end result - an unparalleled calamity. We must stop the sexual ill treatment of Black women.

Definitions:

Modern interpretation:
I have not dishonored another mans wife.
Success principle/goal:
To not insult Black women.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 20 of the programme. The wording is practically identical, but can further be used to highlight the negative way Black women are often spoken to or about. Once again, much of this may come from some Black males (who are typically in their immediate surroundings) that use offensive language to describe or address them.
The regrettable rise of 'entertainment' sources such as 1970's Blaxploitation and 1990's Gangsta rap (both created and controlled by whites) brought with it the type of foul language that regularly demeaned Black women and attempted to decrease their value. As a result, many Black males started to use similar language when speaking to or about Black women in real life. This practice only demeaned us all in the eyes of other races as they saw us openly insult and abuse each other.
So, was it a case of life imitating art - or art imitating life? Had you already become well accustomed to speaking to Black women like this anyway - which was then later reflected in these tacky mediums? Did it originally come from us?

Conclusion:
Bitch, ho, hoochie??? Is it just a bit of fun - or is there much more to it. To speak about Black women like this only encourages other nations to think and do the same - and then view us all as being crude and uncivilised. I mean, which other nation openly addresses their women like this? You can't name one! Why? Because it's not the type of behavior which elevates a people. It's a complete affront to the individual and collective.
Another disturbing concern is that some Black women have even started addressing each other with the same type of language too! It's becoming more and more common within the entertainment industry to hear this. If increasing Black women are now doing this to each other, then how do they TRULY view themselves? We must stop insulting Black women.

42 Steps To Success. Steps 22.
Original:
Hail, thou who dost regard what is brought unto thee (Maa-antuf), who comest forth from Pa-Amsu (Panopolis),
I have not polluted myself.
Definitions:
1. Pollute - defile or corrupt.
Modern interpretation:
I have not defiled myself.
Success principle/goal:
To not corrupt yourself or other Black people.
Rationale:
The introduction of the most addictive vices into your community didn't just happen by accident. Currently, some of the biggest of these include smoking tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, snuff etc.); using drugs (cocaine, cannabis, heroin etc.) ; drinking alcohol (spirits, beer, wines etc.); compulsive gambling (card games, horse/car racing, dice games etc.); eating highly processed edibles (fast food, refined meats, sweet products etc). There can be no denying that many a life has been utterly ruined due to engaging in these time, money and life consuming activities.
The very nature of these vices make them generally highly addictive and their after effects difficult to control, as they begin to build a psychological and/or physiological bond over how you subsequently can think and act. You will soon begin to form a dependency on your chosen vice - which will then further keep you dependent on those who supply you with them. This now raises the critical question of how you'll be able to get them from your suppliers - who certainly won't be giving you them for free.
Money is typically going to be the main means of transaction between you and your supplier. They will supply you with all you need - as long as you can pay for it! The amounts of money used to fund your vices further adds to the problems they cause, as you grow more and more dependent each time you use them. It is an eternal savage pattern of more money, more vice, more dependency. This then can affect family, friends and close associates who will also pay a price as your dependency makes you do practically anything to sustain it.
Often glamourised through mediums like the entertainment or advertising industry, the reality behind the dependency these vices create is absolutely nothing like the fantasy you're presented. To then deliberately further encourage and motivate others to follow in the same direction only worsens conditions for us all, as more and more vices are succumbed to - and more and more money is needed - as the crime rates rocket sky high.
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not corrupt yourself or other Black people.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
Not being able to fully control ourselves indicates that we're vulnerable to being controlled by someone or something else. Those who are then in control can get us to do whatever they like, whenever they like, as it pleases them. As long as this relationship occurs we won't ever be able to depend on ourselves to do what's needed to reach our true potential, as these vices control us. Continuing to pollute ourselves with these vices will only lead to total self destruction, as they rob us of all the money we have - and also the determination and opportunity to use that same money to build productive businesses, initiatives and organisations for our communities.
Some of us state that we need to use these vices to cope with the pressure of living in oppressive and depressive environments and circumstances, but by being addicted to any one of these vices only makes us oppress and depress ourselves all the more further. These are the excuses addicted people usually make to justify their hopeless dependency and inability to free themselves. So, we can't even be relied upon to speak the truth or act in an honest way when we're in this corrupted condition. We're not going to be of any good to ourselves - and we'll only be of any good to the vice peddlers and dealers. We must stop defiling ourselves.

Hail, thou Chief of the mighty (Her-uru) who comest forth from Amentet (Nehatu), I have not caused terror.
Definitions:
1. Terror - a person, especially a child, that causes trouble or annoyance. Extreme fear.
Modern interpretation:
I have not caused trouble or created fear.
Success principle/goal:
To not use fear against other Black people.
Rationale:
The use of terror and fear serves no other purpose but to distress the lives of those who are its victims in order to gain control or influence over them. You've no doubt witnessed how it's being used by our enemies pretty much all of the time, in order to force us to do their bidding and submit to their will. The continuing incidences of innocent and unarmed Black people being murdered by whites, is living proof that this approach is one of their most time honored and trusted ones. Time has shown it's certainly had some effect but - on whom? Do you really think that the terrorists can rest and sleep easy whilst they know vengeance awaits them at every turn? Why do you think so many whites are practically scared to death about Black people? It's because they fear the day they'll get back all they've given us!
Using terror to assert yourself might seem like the quickest and/or most effective way to get immediate domination over your victims, but it'll only have this effect as long as they remain fearful. This means you'll have to be prepared to do increasingly more immoral, shameful and detestable actions to keep them in this state. What do you then become in this process? Are you a human - or a devil? But, time has also shown us that the victims will doubtlessly one day rise above their fears and strike back. This has been seen throughout history on an individual and collective level. The terrorist is eventually overrun and typically meets their painful and disgraceful demise as their reign of fear is brought to a fateful end and the victims free themselves from tyranny.

Conclusion:
It is said that persecution is worse than death. Using fear as a weapon of oppression can only really go one way in the end. The victims grow to become increasingly bitter and resentful, vowing to get justice over those who ill treat them. When we use fear in this manner against each other to gain control and/or personal possessions etc. all we're ultimately doing is building up to that eventful day, when the victims gather themselves to take revenge. They've reached the time when they'd sooner die on their feet, then live on their knees and will free themselves by any means necessary.
It simply has to happen, but the tragic and potential destruction this can cause to the victims, the blameless and the spirit of the community can last for many years to come. It's an inevitable but tragic pay off. The only way to avoid this is to prevent its occurrence in the first place for all of our sake. We must stop using terror on each other.

42 Steps To Success. Steps 24.
Original:
Hail, thou Destroyer (Khemiu), who comest forth from Kesiu, I have not transgressed.
Definitions:
1. Transgress - go beyond the limits of (what is morally, socially, or legally acceptable).
Modern interpretation:
I have not exceeded acceptable limits.
Success principle/goal:
To not go too far with other Black people.
Rationale:
You've probably seen (or been made aware of) events where a minor disagreement happens - but then ends up as a major incident where people are seriously harmed or even killed. Much of the time this didn't need to happen but because those involved allowed themselves to lose control of their reasoning, they then went and gravely over stepped the mark. This is where you'll see them end up crying, wailing and shrieking for their mothers, as they're given a life prison sentence at the age of 18 for murder. So, is the judicial system to blame - or the offender?
Laws are everywhere. They ensure your society remains civil, developed and cultured. Continually breaking them typically leads to destruction and barbarism. This is when the offender is punished for their actions and ends up heavily fined, languishing in jail or sitting in the electric chair! You'll clearly know at the time of your transgression, that you've going too far - but probably won't stop due to wanting to make a point or to get a feeling of being powerful, important or just not to 'loose face'. You can't say that you never knew. So, when the punishment comes, it'll be impossible for you to say with any genuine conviction that you were not to blame, because you know full well you were.
The 42 laws of Ma'at are the primary life values you shouldn't be transgressing, as they help to keep you within the realms of reason, discipline and self control. They ensure you don't become a barbarian. Continually, breaking these universal principles will ultimately determine the direction your life will move in - and history has shown us that it won't be good.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
Earlier, I asked the question, 'is the judicial system to blame - or the offender?' I'm sure the mother of the bawling child being led off to start a life of imprisonment will blame the system, but did they transgress the limits of Ma'at at any stage? They must've done, or else they probably wouldn't have ended up in court in the first place! Most parents will feel a sense of embarrassment if this happened to them and will seek to blame everyone else except their son or daughter, but this doesn't really help. Their child's life has been utterly demolished because of their own behaviour. They now have to live with the consequences of going too far.
That's the key point being made in this step. To not overstep the mark and cause your own ruin by your own actions. Studying, practicing and teaching these values will undoubtedly keep us away from behaving in a way that attracts negativity and all that it brings. They stop the possibility of us deliberately breaking these universal laws of how to live successfully - and then receiving the major complications this can only bring as a result. We must stop going too far with each other.

r42 Steps To Success. Step 25.
Original:
Hail, thou who orderest speech (Shet-kheru), who comest forth from Urit, I have not been a man of anger.
Definitions:
1. Anger - a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility.
Modern interpretation:
I have not allowed myself to just be 'annoyed'.
Success principle/goal:
To not be hostile towards other Black people.
Rationale:
Being in a ongoing state of anger indicates that you're frustrated and disappointed about a particular thing or person. It is only natural to feel anger - especially if you've been wronged or mistreated and you deserve justice. To not feel angry would be completely unnatural and goes against all rational thought and expectation. If the source of your anger is then tackled, you free yourself of the damaging stress, anxiety and tension remaining like this brings.
Finding yourself being angry at other Black people may be linked to individual incidents - or even their perceived lack of collective progress. If it's this, then you need to organise yourself to do something to help move the community forward to the place you think they should be. Staying bitter and resentful isn't going to result in anything, except your own poor mental and physical health.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
There are a fair number of problems in our communities that need to be addressed. We all have some responsibility to do whatever we can to try and solve them. However, you'll often find individuals getting insanely irate (shouting, swearing, threatening etc.) because of these problems, but when you ask how are they organising themselves to solve them, it soon becomes clear they're not doing anything at all apart from shouting, swearing, threatening etc. They are filled with rage - but they're doing nothing to change the conditions that makes them so discontented.
These problems are likely to persist and worsen because people like that do little to solve them, even though there's nothing stopping them from doing so. People like this are a major stumbling block to our collective advancement because they'll mainly just stay expressing anger - and not taking any practical steps to solve our community problems. They will even potentially sabotage positive efforts made by others, just so they can glibly say, "ha! I told you so" and stay infuriated. They are trapped in their own 'negrosis' (the condition of being a 'negro') and are a part of the problem - not the solution!
We mustn't allow ourselves to become victims of our anger like those described above. We must be prepared to turn that anger into action and organise towards addressing the problems we're most offended by. Once we do this, the problems will become solved one by one and we'll all be able to enjoy largely problem free and peaceful communities. We must stop just being 'angry'.

42 Steps To Success. Step 26.
Original:
Hail, thou Babe (Nekhenu), who comest forth from Uab (Heqat), I have not stopped my ears against the words of right and truth.
Definitions:
1. Stop - cease to perform a specified action or have a specified experience.
Modern interpretation:
I have not refused to hear the truth.
Success principle/goal:
To not refuse to listen to the truth about Black people.
Rationale:
You've heard the saying, 'accept the truth and the truth will set you free' many times before. Is the truth really this powerful? Can you really be set 'free' by accepting the truth? This is a significant issue in your communities as what's been promoted as 'truth' often times has been proven to be anything other than that. Historically and currently, there have been many deliberate efforts made to keep you enslaved with what you've been informed. Your enemies know that using false information (presented as the truth) is one of the best ways to keep you confused and disorientated.
Concerted efforts in doing this has led to the downfall of many Black organisations, community leaders and institutions. Once you start to believe the misinformation that's been spread, then this starts the snow ball effect where practically anything else said is accepted without question. Community progress is then paralysed and your once active individual and communal development crippled. Looking back, you can only say that it's certainly worked very well for your enemies, as many of us still have little or no clue what to think and/or subsequently do to be truly free.
So, if using lies can be so effective, then surely using truth can also be equally effective. The truth is certainly out there - but it exists within an assortment of personal opinions, half-truths and outright lies etc. Finding it isn't going to be easy, but the pursuit of freedom and personal liberty is one of the greatest journeys you can ever embark upon. This is perhaps the most fantastic of journeys - the freeing of your mind. Once you're free, then every one of your descendants will also be free. That's how big this thing really is.
You need to make effort to 'look' for the truth. It's an active process where you'll have to sift through other information (and misinformation) to eventually find it. This makes you know you've used logic, reasoning and rationality to ultimately decide what you accept as truth. You didn't just reach this point through being haphazard and lazy. Expecting truth to just 'fall into your lap' is a sure indication that you should view anything that does with doubt and suspicion. After all, you've not made any active effort to get it - so how can it just appear?

Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
Searching for the truth is only the first part of this journey. The next critical stage is to implement these truths into our lives. There are going to be some very challenging confessions to recognise that might not sit too easily. There are things we'll have to acknowledge about ourselves that will be unsettling and hard to accept - but this is where we'll make the most progress in the end. Once these are confronted and discarded, then they can be replaced with what we know to be the truth (gained through our dedicated efforts) instead and stand firm in our convictions of what we know to be real.
Conversely, refusing to accept these truths will only hold us back and keep us in yet another state of enslavement - an enslavement based upon being shackled to the 'feel good of falsehood'. Just because it feels good, doesn't mean it is good! It's the truth (good or bad) that'll free us and actively seeking it will protect us from the varied deceptions that are constantly being pushed at us. Perpetual freedom or perpetual slavery? You decide. We must stop refusing to accept the whole truth about ourselves.

Original:
Hail, Kenemti, who comest forth from Kenemet, I have cursed no man.
Definitions:
1. Curse - a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something.
2. A cause of harm or misery.
Modern interpretation:
I have not tried to bring misery to someone.
Success principle/goal:
To not try to harm other Black people.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 10 of the programme. When you deliberately harm another Black person, directly or indirectly, it shows you don't value them. But, what's more revealing is that it shows you don't value yourself. How come? When the repercussions come back to you for the harm you've chosen to do to others, then they'll be serious - perhaps even fatal. Now, why would you want to bring this into your life knowing full well the dangerous consequences that await?
It has to be a sign that you don't genuinely value yourself, because nobody who does would ever want to do this to them self. This would be a way out of the misery of living for those who choose to curse (to harm others). The added possibility that these severe repercussions could also be brought to innocent people and/or family members is further evidence of 'self-devaluing' and a heedlessness to what can be expected.

42 Steps To Success. Step 28.
Original:
Hail, thou who bringest thy offering (An-hetep-f), I have not acted in a violent or oppressive manner.
Definitions:
1. Oppression - prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or exercise of authority. Mental pressure or distress.
2. Violence - behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Strength of emotion or of a destructive natural force.
Modern interpretation:
I have not been unjust to anybody.
Success principle/goal:
To not deliberately be cruel or destructive to other Black people.
Rationale:
The varying levels of violence you've seen in your communities has caused substantial disunity and separation. These degrees of oppressive treatment were originally intensified through the enslavement of Africans to whites. Violence was used on a daily basis to control and force them to do as they were commanded at all times. This was a relatively simple method that worked successfully and ensured that whites dominated and remained firmly in control throughout chattel enslavement.
At this time, similar levels of oppression were sadly adopted by those same Africans who essentially copied how whites treated them. They would then use excessive acts of violence towards their family members; wives; children etc. This became normal and expected behaviour spreading from one person to the next. If you didn't use these same levels of violence, you'd be seen as being weak - or you'd become a victim of someone else's violence yourself. Violence thus became an ever increasing circle of savagery within your communities.
The effect this has had today, is one where violence (and/or the threat of violence) is almost immediately used as a means of domination and oppression within your own communities. Those who are the most violent, get the most respect - but also face the most potential repercussions for the violence they rely upon. There's always going to be a 'contender' for the title of the most violent. Which means the perpetrators of violence can only hang onto their status by being more violent then they were the last time. This escalating series of violence can then only result in ongoing destruction for all involved - and those who happen to be in the vicinity.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
When we use ever increasing levels of violence and oppression on each other, we're only showing ourselves and the world how damaged we truly are. There's no doubt we know what we're doing is wrong (especially at the time we do it) but the baseless fear of losing community respect, esteem and status etc. is all that's needed to push us even further into the use of oppressive violence towards each other.
We've now even turned it into a source of entertainment for ourselves (and other nations) where we record and share it on social media streams. Our enemies have even monetised it, so that they can get paid every time someone wants to watch it online. Yes. The horror of such levels of 'African on African' violence is now available for a subscription fee to any consumer - and we're the ones who are the willing slaves to it. The violence will only continue if we don't recognise its slave origins; how we've chosen to follow the ways of our enemies and how we're the ones who are continuing it. We must stop being violent and oppressive to each other.

This escalating series of violence can then only result in ongoing destruction for all involved - and those who happen to be in the vicinity.

42 Steps To Success. Step 29.
Original:
Hail, thou who orderest speech (Sera-kheru), who comest forth from Unaset, I have not stirred up strife.
Definitions:
1. Strife - angry or bitter disagreement over fundamental issues; conflict.
Modern interpretation:
I have not deliberately caused conflict.
Success principle/goal:
To not intentionally cause bitterness between Black people.
Rationale:
To deliberately 'sit down' and think up ways to cause trouble among other Black people can only be described as being thoroughly diabolical. For you to do this - cause distress between husband and wife; serious problems between friends; major difficulties within families etc. - can only mean that you're choosing to live a lifestyle that is wholly corrupt and immoral. Nobody's forcing you. You're doing this completely by choice. Your reasons for this are your own - but the outcomes of your actions will belong to everybody who's directly or indirectly involved.
You may be getting some form of pleasure, thrill or entertainment out of this (and it may be amusing for a time) but when you're eventually discovered by your victims and they come to your door seeking vengeance, I wonder if you'll find that just as amusing or entertaining then? Or, perhaps, will your family members find it equally amusing or thrilling when they have to personally pay the price for the torment you've caused?
You think it's fun? You'll forever be 'looking over your shoulder' for this moment to arrive and the fear of reprisals will always be just around the corner. You might think you can rely on somebody else to fight for you when violence comes or is threatened, but that's only going to happen if they believe the injuries they'll receive on your behalf will be worth it. If they don't, then you (and/or your family) need to prepare for the brutality that will ensue.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
This deliberate act is solely carried out to create friction just for the sake of confrontation - or even for some warped sense of entertainment. The dispute is fabricated - and then trouble makers then stand back to watch the devastation. It truly is a most deplorable action to consciously partake in because they know they're only doing it to ruin other people's lives. Either way, the outcome will be a calamity for those who get caught up in the dissension. It may even possibly result in the claiming of innocent lives. What we may not fully appreciate is the violent reprisals we'll possibly face, when the victims identify and seize the offender and do whatever they feel is necessary to get the justice they deserve.
We should never feel sorry for those people who choose to create conflict and who then get conflict as a result. Their victims are the ones who deserve all of our sadness because of the long term problems they'll have to endure and try to sort out. The 'peace breakers' within our communities must be exposed for the suffering they've deliberately caused.
Conflict has long been used as as a means to destabilise our communities - by both external and internal forces. By intentionally creating it where it doesn't exist (and where it doesn't need to exist) only shows an individual and collective desire for destruction, that'll break whatever insecure bonds we share even further. We must stop causing trouble among each other.

42 Steps To Success. Step 30.
Original:
Hail, Lord of faces (Neb-heru), who comest forth from Netchfet, I have not acted or judged with undue haste.
Definitions:
1. Judge - form an opinion or conclusion about.
2. Hastily - with excessive speed or urgency; hurriedly.
Modern interpretation:
I have not thought or acted without fully taking the facts into account.
Success principle/goal:
To not jump to conclusions about other Black people.
Rationale:
Reaching conclusions without the facts only prompts you to make one of the most potentially devastating choices possible. Take this for an example, you've heard that your friend has been raped by someone from another community. There's always been an uneasiness between you and them and all this has done has heightened it. You don't know the full facts but you're harassed and pressured to go 'deal with those who did it'. You eventually find 'them' and attack without mercy - all the while they're looking bewildered. You later find out that the your friend has no clue about any rape and she wasn't even in the city on that day!
How would you feel if this happened to you? What would you be thinking? There's no doubt you'd probably be filled with massive regret and also be questioning how you allowed yourself to be so easily misled. A situation like this could be about a specific person, a proposed opportunity, a baseless rumour - in fact it could be just about anything! The core of the problem arises when you realise that what you thought was happening actually wasn't - but your swift and thoughtless reaction then goes on to only make things even worse.
This entire affair becomes even more destructive if this has been done solely to get you to react in this manner, in order to cause trouble for you and/or others. This is another example of how lives can be quickly ruined and/or even lost due to deliberate negative intentions.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
The above story may sound far fetched or simply too fantastic to be true, but a very similar situation happened less then fifty miles from where I live! The relations between the two communities has never been worse and there's absolutely no evidence to support any allegations of sexual attacks. So, who knows who or what's really behind all of this? If this can be done so effectively on a community wide scale, just look at how easy it'd be to do it between individuals or small groups.
Once we allow ourselves to respond and/or react in this manner, then what comes next is our own fault. Our ancestors knew the amount of danger acting without thinking can cause and so warned us about it at least seven thousand years ago. If we choose to ignore them, then we can't say we never knew. We must stop judging each other in haste.

42 Steps To Success. Step 31.
Original:
Hail, Sekhriu, who comest forth from Uten, I have not pried into matters.
Definitions:
1. Pried - inquire too closely into a person's private affairs.
Modern interpretation:
I have not been too inquisitive.
Success principle/goal:
To not get involved in other Black peoples' affairs.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 17 of the programme. Deliberately being intrusive into other peoples' affairs is typically only done to expose something. If this is genuinely being done to alert others to some form of deceit or scheme, then it's being done with integrity and can help to avoid further or future victims. If you're mainly doing it to uncover something primarily to embarrass or manipulate others, then this is where it's being done maliciously and reduces you to being a snoop, busy body or spy.
Either way, there'll be a backlash that you'll have to contend with, as those in question attempt to defend themselves from what they see as an attack on their character or even espionage. Another possibility is that you might not have the complete facts - and then create even bigger problems when it's finally discovered you're making unfounded and baseless accusations. This can quickly lead to a damaging counter- response which then completely ruins your own credibility. The conflict you've intend to cause has now come back to you!
What happens if the information you've discovered reveals something problematic about (or to) you or someone you're closely related to? What will you do with that information then? Yes. You could go to the police, but then that immediately exposes you and further complicates matters as they conduct their own investigations. They will be directly involving you and wanting to know how and why you've got your information. It can get quite messy after this.

Intention lies at the heart of this type of situation. If we allow communities to develop where we intentionally meddle into each others affairs then the outcome can be highly destructive for all of us. After a while, we'll lose confidence in each other as we'll never know who's to be trusted, leading to all sorts of grand scale suspicion and doubt. How could we ever come back from that? We must stop interfering into each others business.

Definitions:
1. Multiplied - increase or cause to increase greatly in number or quantity.
2. Exceedingly - extremely. To a great extent.
Modern interpretation:
I have not been extreme with what I have said.
Success principle/goal:
To not exaggerate to other Black people.
Rationale:
This can mean you're doing it to give the impression you're much more than what you truly are or you've seen, heard, think more than you really did etc. The problem behind this is that you'll not be able to support these excessive claims (made about yourself or something else) and then be later embarrassed when asked to prove it. Now, you might not mind feeling embarrassed (at least it gives you the chance to feel that others recognise you exist) but, what you're not fully acknowledging is the extent of damage you can cause between others if they believe you. Any trouble or difficulty coming from that may quickly lead them straight to your front door. You could easily end up being the sole cause behind massive conflict, bloody vendettas and even death just because you grossly overstated what happened.

2. Wickedness - the quality of being evil or morally wrong.
Modern interpretation:
I have not wronged anybody.
Success principle/goal:

By now you should be fully aware that doing wrong to each other is a highly destructive path to take. 42 Steps To Success. Step 34.
Original:
Hail, Tmu in thine hour, who comest forth from Tattu (Busiris), I have never cursed the king.
Definitions:
1. Curse - used to express annoyance or irritation. A cause of harm or misery.
2. King - a person or thing regarded as the finest or most important in their sphere or group.
Modern interpretation:
I have not sought to work against those that lead me.
Success principle/goal:
To not cause harm or problems for Black leaders.
Rationale:
Although, the original text states 'the King', this step can also be applied to those who you've identified, supported and placed into leadership roles for your community. It isn't to be applied to any and all local or national leaders or leadership - unless you've put them there. By being a nuisance, problematic and overly critical to (or about) the decisions made by your leaders, you start to undermine their granted authority and can seriously upset the overall progress of your community - particularly if done maliciously.
You're probably well aware of persistent efforts made by your enemies to undermine Black leaders. Why would they do this? A community with no leadership can never truly progress as there'll be no clear direction for them to take. With no clear communal objectives to work towards, any community in this state will soon become unfocused and will eventually lose direction. This is why you've seen so many attempts to destroy or destabilise your leaders - because it's a key method to keep you in a collective state of powerlessness. When you willingly take part in this - you're only hastening your own downfall.
Of course, if your elected leaders aren't serving you in the way in which they promised, then this'll soon be seen in the anger and contempt shown from the community. These people will soon be removed from their positions and replaced with others who'll sincerely work towards implementing the goals of your community. Those leaders who are genuinely doing their best to fulfil their duties should be helped, encouraged and supported - especially if and when they're struggling to do so. The only way communal success will happen, is if the community itself takes on some of the tasks it wants to see come into existence and support its leadership. This is the way to our collective success.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Conclusion:
It is said that, 'when a people have no leader, the devil becomes their leader'. Well, we've certainly seen the 'devilishness' of having no effective leadership in our communities over the centuries. Futile infighting, mass apathy and entire communities without purpose has proven this saying to be most true. Without leadership, our communities cannot have a focal point for its collective ambitions and objectives. Without collective objectives, there can be no direction. Without direction, we remain set adrift in an endless sea of despair and confusion.
Sincerely supporting our elected leaders is the key to our collective growth and success. But, we shouldn't just be expecting them to do absolutely everything we want to see happen. How could it be physically possible for one person (or even a small group of people) to achieve such an outcome like this? It is something we've all seen where some of us actually believe our leaders should physically do all the work themselves - while the rest of us sit back and wait to enjoy the benefits. How is this going to realistically happen - especially when these community roles are usually voluntary and the finances available to ensure tasks are done, are thoroughly inadequate?
Some of us honestly believe that all we need to do give our vote - and then the leaders will do everything else after that! When this doesn't happen (or it doesn't happen up to the standard we think it should happen) we start to complain and then 'curse our kings'. The idea that our leaders are going to need physical help from the community to achieve our collective goals, has never entered the minds of people who choose to think like this. They expect everything for little or nothing and revolt when it doesn't happen. This pushes us right back into a position of being without leaders. So, who is the real 'devil' now I wonder? We must stop destroying our own leaders.
The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:
Hail, thou who workest with thy will (Ari-em-ab-f), who comest forth from Tebu, I have never fouled the water.
... may your heart be lighter than the feather.

Original:
Hail, thou who workest with thy will (Ari-em-ab-f), who comest forth from Tebu, I have never fouled the water.
Definitions:
1. Fouled - make foul or dirty; pollute.
Modern interpretation:
I have not polluted that which is of great value.
Success principle/goal:
To value that which benefits Black people.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 16 of the programme. Although the original text states 'water' (as ancient Kemet was largely an agricultural society, water was vitally important for its continued success) living within industrial societies, water doesn't hold exactly the same amount of value because of its usual greater abundance. So, this step can be equally applied to anything of vital benefit to the community which exists among us.
You, your family and friends all rely on shared communal assets that support you. Without having continual access to these, your lives would be far more difficult and challenging. Just imagine if the electricity, water or gas supply was suddenly cut off with no date for re-connection? How would you cope? This is when you'd see just how valuable these assets truly are.
None of you should take them for granted because if they were suddenly made unavailable, then the whole community would be instantly affected. So, it's in all of your interests to ensure these precious communal assets remain intact and are kept clean and faultless as we all benefit from them.

Conclusion:
Our environment will only be of benefit to us when we recognise we have to be of benefit to it. By taking care of our collective surroundings, we allow it to ultimately take care of us. So, just like in Ancient Kemet (where the ploughed land and water were two major assets) the valuable belongings we have access to within in our communities, must also be preserved and maintained for all of our sake. We must value all of the assets in our communities.

42 Steps To Success. Step 36.
Original:
Hail, thou bearer of the sistrum (Ahi), who comest forth from Nu, I have not spoken scornfully.
Definitions:
1. Scornful - feeling or expressing contempt or derision.
Modern interpretation:
I have not spoken to others disrespectfully.
Success principle/goal:
To not speak to other Black people in an insulting manner.
Rationale:
There's really no rational reason for you to ever speak to other Black people in a condescending way. If you think about it, you're only really going to do it in order to leave the recipient feeling disheartened, angry or upset. But, for what reason? To make yourself feel better? To make them feel worse? Or is it really to lessen your own deep set feelings of inferiority or threat? If it's this, then not identifying the reasons behind it will eventually make you a lot of enemies who'll all be doing their very best to 'get you back'.
Other times, it may appear to be a bit of a joke, but speaking like this can quickly get out of hand. Why? Because a very fine line exists between what can be considered a joke and an insult. It can be crossed instantaneously (deliberately or otherwise) leading to abrupt hostility. Nobody wants to feel like they've been made a fool out of, especially in public. They may try to defend themselves verbally if they can, but if they can't, then you'd better stand by for violent action!
On the other hand, you may be deliberately wanting to get an aggressive reaction, so you speak like this in order to provoke it. You're obviously looking for a fight - but the fight may not necessarily start or end there. When the vicious repercussions of this finally comes to you (or your family members) when least expected, it's guaranteed you'll be left deeply regretting what you've done.
Although you might like the illusion of feeling superior and aloof over those you speak down to, one day the tables will definitely turn and those who you've treated like this will seek their revenge. Ask yourself - would you like to be spoken to in this way?
The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To not speak to other Black people in an insulting manner.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
The tremendous damage that can come out of this in our communities should never be minimised. Who knows what levels of violence can result from just two people in this type of situation. The fact that innocent people can also be drawn into the violence is another major factor, as these fights are recorded and made public. We are increasingly see videos of brutal fights on social media that have happened mainly because someone feels like they've been publicly 'dissed' (disrespected). The onlookers are there usually doing their best to encourage the fight and when it starts, they use it as a form of 'social entertainment' - even up until death. Is this what we've become?
The other side of this is when we see the crushing effects of Black adults talking to their children in this destructive manner. The child is continually made to feel valueless, inadequate and worthless. It attacks the root of their very core (their self image) and becomes the basis for how they think and feel about themselves. The child will carry these feelings with them throughout the whole of their lives never reaching their full potential, always lacking in self esteem and confidence, never really quite knowing why they can't seem to progress.
These were the same specific tactics used by white enslavers to ensure we'd never attempt to change our condition and gain freedom. If you believe you can't be better, then you won't ever try to be better. By constantly doing this, whites kept us dominated and mentally unable to rise up. For us to now use the same methods to control each other is evidence of the degree of self damage and destruction. Speaking to each other like this will never help us to progress and can only bring the contempt it's designed to do. We must stop speaking badly to each other.

Original:
Hail, thou who makest humanity to flourish (Uatch-rekhit), who comest forth from Saïs, I have never cursed God.
Definitions:
1. Cursed - utter offensive words in anger or annoyance.
Modern interpretation:
I have not expressed anger towards The Creator.
Success principle/goal:
To not blame The Creator for the condition of my life.
Rationale:
The people of Ancient Kemet believed their lives were already laid out for them (pre-destined) before they were born and that there was nothing they could do to change this. They understood that life has its 'ups and downs' - but they also knew the way they chose to respond to those ups and downs made all of the difference. So, responding negatively to life's challenges and 'cursing God' only brought them more problems and no solutions. Conversely, responding positively by trying to find solutions helped them to finally succeed and 'pass the test'.
Have you being going through life's ups and down? I'm sure you have. But, how have you chosen to respond to them? Negatively - blaming other races, saying you always have bad luck, cursing God etc. or positively - looking for new or alternative options; getting support/help; using existing (or gaining new) skills to progress etc. Your condition can only change when you first start to change your condition. So, which direction have you chosen? Your answer to this will certainly determine whether you'll rise or fall - pass the test or fail. The beauty of Ma'at is that it clarifies beyond any doubt that it's all in your hands.

Are we looking for new or alternative options; getting support/help; using existing (or gaining new) skills to progress ourselves etc. or are we blaming other races, saying we always have bad luck, cursing God etc. We all know the answer to this one don't we?
Have we also seriously considered that many of these harsh experiences we see affecting our communities could be the result of us collectively choosing to largely follow negative life principles? If it is, then cursing God isn't going to change anything (because we're the ones who are choosing to live like this) and only shows that we'll blame anyone and anything first before we blame ourselves. We'll need to change our negative lifestyles first - and then the rest of our lives will change. We must stop blaming others for our own negative choices in life.

Original:
Hail, Neheb-ka, who comest forth from thy cavern, I have not acted with arrogance.
Definitions:
1. Arrogance - making claims or pretensions to superior importance or rights; overbearingly assuming; insolently proud:
Modern interpretation:
I have not wrongfully taken pride in myself.
Success principle/goal:
To not believe you are unjustifiably better than other Black people.
Rationale:
The deceptive methods used by whites to keep you divided among yourselves has created a set of baseless values, which have made some of you believe you've special entitlements based upon your hair texture, skin shade, eye colour, size and shape of nose and lips etc. Whites used these aspects to create a set of distinctions which they'd use to sustain division. Generally, it was those who looked 'less Black' who were afforded better opportunities and privileges from and within white society. Once you accepted this, you began to believe you were better than those who didn't fit those same narrow distinctions.
Today, you'll still find many of you continue to believe these divisions and try to use them for your personal benefit. This has resulted in a kind of fragile arrogance that entirely relies upon predetermined physical features - and not actual tangible achievement. It's the worse kind of arrogance to have as it's not built upon the truthful merit of accomplishment. Those who rely upon this will always lack sincere self-confidence and self-esteem because their 'value' is largely based upon groundless traits they had no control over .
However, it's quite normal to have distinctions among people, but it's the way in which this is done that matters. For example, those who've made substantial effort to successfully reach the set goal should be rewarded for their efforts. They should be awarded a higher status because this is based upon their achievement alone and nothing else. For them to boastfully feel good about them self wouldn't be arrogance - because they genuinely deserve the status they have. Conversely, if they were given the same status mainly because of their physical appearance (and they boastfully felt good about them self) then this would be arrogance as there had been little merited effort made to achieve this reward.

Arrogance is nothing to be proud of or boasted about in our communities. It is a negative quality that has its origins in our enslavement and was an approach used to keep us apart. There is no value in being arrogant as it has no real foundation in reality or genuine achievement. Confidence is what we should be individually and collectively constantly striving towards as this is the guaranteed 'by product' of the setting and successful achievement of valuable goals. We must stop being arrogant towards each other.

Original:
Hail, Neheb-nefert, who comest forth from thy hiding place, I have not defrauded the offerings of the gods.
Definitions:
1. Defraud - illegally obtain money from (someone) by deception.
2. Offering - a thing offered, especially as a gift or contribution.
3. gods - a greatly admired or influential person.
Modern interpretation:
I have not withheld contributions from my leaders.
Success principle/goal:
To pay your monetary dues to your Black leaders.
Rationale:
I suppose that this is just another way of saying you're not supposed to be withholding your taxes! This step can also be linked to step 33 of the programme. In order for your community to develop you know that it needs effective leadership. This leadership needs money to carry out those duties on behalf of your community. Without this money, the hoped for changes will be very slow and the community may become increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress.
Yet, if every member in your community gave a certain percentage of their income to help fund this leadership, your communities would make tremendous progress within a short space of time. There'd be no need to seek external funding or financial assistance from outside sources (which very often has hidden strings attached) because all the money required would be generated from yourselves. Your community would reach all of the leadership goals it's set and establish a new model for community independence.

We can start to overcome many of the problems we see around us by pooling our financial resources together. This will give us economic power. When we use this to fund our own leadership, we'll then have political power also. These two corner stones will provide us with the basis for an independence, that'll mark the beginning of the end of our reliance on our enemies - or any other nation. We must start using a portion of our wealth to help our leaders do a better job.

The Neo Ma'at success process:
Recognise the goal you need to set: To pay your monetary dues to your Black leaders.
Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:

Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
We can start to overcome many of the problems we see around us by pooling our financial resources together. This will give us economic power. When we use this to fund our own leadership, we'll then have political power also. These two corner stones will provide us with the basis for an independence, that'll mark the beginning of the end of our reliance on our enemies - or any other nation. We must start using a portion of our wealth to help our leaders do a better job.
The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:
Hail, thou who dost set in order the head (Tcheser-tep), who comest forth from thy shrine, I have not plundered the offerings to the blessed dead.

42 Steps To Success. Step 40.
Original:
Hail, thou who dost set in order the head (Tcheser-tep), who comest forth from thy shrine, I have not plundered the offerings to the blessed dead.
Definitions:
1. Plunder - steal goods from (a place or person), typically using force and in a time of war or civil disorder. Take material from (artistic or academic work) for one's own purposes.
2. Offering - a thing offered, especially as a gift or contribution.
3. Blessed - a title preceding the name of a dead person considered to have led a holy life. Made holy; consecrated.
Modern interpretation:
I have not taken away what I should offer to those who have passed.
Success principle/goal:
To remember your sincere Black ancestors.
Rationale:
The 'offering' stated in the original text could also mean the offering of remembrance, reverence and recognition that you should pay to those positive ancestors, who deserve to be honoured and acknowledged for their great deeds. Their selfless achievements are what has helped you to be the person you've become and also given you the chance to benefit from advantages you may now take for granted. Without their sacrifices you wouldn't be where you are (or have what you have available) today. They deserve your respect and admiration as true heroes and heroines and not doing this is comparable to plundering (stealing away) from them what you should rightfully offer.
Remembrance doesn't mean that you 'worship' them (you don't pray to them or believe they can improve or better your life if you ask them to) and it certainly doesn't mean you acknowledge all of them - as there were some who chose to live amoral and dishonourable lives too! Furthermore, by Identifying and remembering your upstanding ancestors, you'll further gain the inspiration and motivation to live your life in a similar way and also work towards setting and successfully achieving valuable goals. These will then bring great benefit to future generations within your family and community, so that one day they too will remember you as being 'blessed'.
The Neo Ma'at success process:

Examine the possible causes:
Analyse potential solutions:
Corrective planning:
Holistic evaluation of this experience:
(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
Remembering our ancestors is seen by some of us as being some kind of witchcraft, black magic or juju. This idea too is also linked to our enslavement because whites knew that we could gain inspiration from their life stories if we remembered them. Why do you think our enemies do all they can to stop us from gaining the truth of our African history? It's because they know if they can hide, erase or change our past, they'll be able to manipulate our present and therefore control our future for their own benefit.
This step should prove to us all the great necessity of making sure we set up the means for our own communities to regularly remember the lives and history of our upstanding ancestors and not leave it in the hands of our enemies. If we do, then they're only going to make it suit themselves; their collective interests and their need to sustain the present 'master and slave' conditions. Once again, it's all in our hands. We must remember our honourable ancestors.
The next stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:
Hail, thou who bringest thy arm (An-af), who comest forth from the city of Ma’ati, I have not filched the food of the infant, neither have I sinned against the god of my native town.
... may your heart be lighter than the feather.

Original:
Hail, thou who bringest thy arm (An-af), who comest forth from the city of Ma’ati, I have not filched the food of the infant, neither have I sinned against the god of my native town.
Definitions:
1. Filched - pilfer or steal (something, especially an item of small value) in a casual way.
2. Sin - an act regarded as a serious or regrettable fault, offence, or omission.
Modern interpretation:
I have not taken away that which the child needs and I have not worked against my leaders.
Success principle/goal:
To not work against the collective success of other Black people.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 9 and step 32 of the programme. Although, the original text uses the word 'food' this, can equally be defined as mental 'food' - as well as physical. To 'steal' the spiritual, mental and behavioural guidance and support that is needed by Black children for them to grow into healthy and fulfilled people, is a substantially destructive and damaging action. Without this unique cultural 'nourishment', they'll eventually under perform and not reach their maximum potential in the long run. You should always be doing your best to 'gift' (not steal) this immensely valuable resource to all Black children in order to support their growth and potential future success. They are destined to become your leaders of tomorrow.
The 'god of your native town' (your current leader) also needs to have your full support and not have you working against their efforts, to make the community succeed with its collective goals and objectives. 'Sinning' (deliberately acting against them) is only going to frustrate their efforts and stall community success. You can guarantee that any one acting like this is either envious of your leader or they've been specifically drafted in enlisted by your enemies to stop your community from advancing. Once legitimately identified, you must do all that you can to immediately neutralise them.

Conclusion:
George Benson once sang the words, 'I believe that children are our future' when he performed 'the greatest love of all'. He wasn't wrong by any means. We have to do our utmost best to give (not take away) our children the type of 'food' that'll help them to one day lead our communities to ultimate success. Our current chosen and elected community leaders should also be supported with carrying out the tasks needed to ensure the goals set by the community are fully achieved. They will only be able to do this with your continued support and assistance.
The final stage in the 42 Steps To Success series will be:

42 Steps To Success. Step 42.
Original:
Hail, thou whose teeth are white (Hetch-abhu), who comest forth from Ta-she (the Fayyum), I have not slaughtered with evil intent the cattle of the gods.
Definitions:
1. Slaughter - kill (people or animals) in a cruel or violent way, typically in large numbers.
2. Intent - Intention or purpose. Determined to do (something).
Modern interpretation:
I have not intentionally destroyed that which is needed by my leaders.
Success principle/goal:
To not deliberately ruin the assets used by our sincere Black leaders.
Rationale:
This step can also be linked to step 32 and step 41 of the programme. Within ancient Kemetan agricultural society, cattle was of vast importance as they were used for all types of farming, cultivation and food. They were a prime asset of great value which most people protected and looked after. To therefore intentionally kill other people's cattle for no reason would be viewed as an act of immense and unjustifiable destruction. The penalty for this would be rightfully severe as the loss would put the owner, their family and other dependents in significant and unnecessary hardship.
In today's industrialised societies, cattle does not hold the same primary value - but other assets such as vehicles, land/property, personal goods etc. could be equally comparable to the historical value of cattle. To maliciously destroy the useful and valuable resources that your leaders use to help them carry out their duties (offices, equipment, vehicles etc.) would be completely indefensible as it also puts them in significant and unnecessary hardship, and stops them from doing their sanctioned duties.
There really is no reason why you would choose to act like this - especially if your leaders are successfully working towards the greater community good. Acts of this nature would only be done through treason so the threat should be immediately neutralised.

(This example is an abridged version of the complete step - which is available through the group workshop or private coaching session)
Conclusion:
Once again, we're learning about the huge importance of supporting our community leaders as they work towards our collective progress. Remember, we've chosen and elected them to fulfil the objectives of the community due to their capacity and track record. They haven't been chosen haphazardly. As long as they're successfully doing this, we should aid them completely. If they're no longer managing to do these duties, they must be swiftly replaced with those who can. Acknowledging this guarantees we don't anyone to intentionally work towards sabotaging the chances of our leader's progress, by ruining the assets they need to do their mission.
